Pamplin Family Corrections Page

Occasionally, we find that public records and/or genealogical information provided to us by researchers & family members may contain incomplete, inaccurate or erroneous information. To address those rare occasions, we've added this page to help family members, researchers and others provide corrections to Pamplin.NET for other researchers and future editions of “The Pamplin Family and Connections”.

Please read & follow these instructions carefully:

Before you begin to enter your corrections , please take a moment to REVIEW the information that you believe needs to be corrected in “The Pamplin Family and Connections”. Make notes if you think they will be helpful. If you do not have a copy of the “The Pamplin Family and Connections”, please see instructions at the end of this section.

Once you have a clear conception of the correct information you would like to submit, please provide us with TWO PARAGRAPHS (or more) of information:

YOUR FIRST PARAGRAPH should contain no less than the first and last sentences from the section in “The Pamplin Family and Connections” where your corrections should be inserted. VERY IMPORTANT: please provide us with enough information to determine the location of your corrections (Volume 1 or 2, page number, etc.) within “The Pamplin Family and Connections” in order for us to review the information and verify it's content for corrections.

YOUR SECOND PARAGRAPH should contain ALL of the information (word for word) as you wish for it to appear in publication. Please look closely at existing formatting within “The Pamplin Family and Connections” and follow the same formatting for your corrections . VERY IMPORTANT: accuracy here cannot be overstressed. Once published, incorrect information cannot be corrected until future editions. Please provide complete names / maiden names along with places of significant events (births, marriages, deaths, wills, property records, etc.) and any other information you feel to be relevant.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT your corrections, please review them for completeness and accuracy.

If you do not have a copy of the “The Pamplin Family and Connections”, please complete the instructions for PARAGRAPH TWO ONLY. We will attempt to process your corrections to the best of our ability by reviewing current information available to us. HOWEVER, this may increase the time taken to publish your corrections.

the information to be corrected should be found under the name in the index of volume 1 page 186 Virgil William Bowen and his wife Mary King had 9 children total the 4th child down is where the correction should be Othel Don Bowen married 1st Marie Anderson three children were born during the marriage Timothy Lynn Willabey, Donna Marie Willabey, Liza Willard. The marriage was in name only they never lived together. Othel Don married 2ed Darlene Mae Post 0ct 3 1953 children are Othel Don Bowen born Dec 19 1954, Diana Lee Bowen born Jan 1 1958. Othel Don Bowen had 2 children not 5.
